Endodontics or root canal treatment is the procedure through which the diseased, dead or injured pulp is removed and root canal is filled and sealed with special materials.
The pulp is the soft tissue forming the inner structure of a tooth and containing nerves and blood vessels and is located in the central part of the root.
Symptom is NOT always pain or cavities affecting the pulp in an irreversible way.
